Betting on New Hampshire

As long as the Democratic primaries remain competitive, I will be checking in with Tradesports, an Internet-based, peer-to-peer betting market where participants wager on sports and politics. Various studies have shown that such information markets are superior to polls in predicting election outcomes. But the site blew the Iowa caucuses, showing a Howard Dean victory when in fact John Kerry won. This time, it shows Kerry winning today in the Granite State with more than a 90 percent confidence rating.
