  1. What's available in the archives?
    Articles that are two weeks past their publication date are in the Archives. Rankings, graphics and other content presented in tables in the magazine or guide books are not available from our archive at this time.

  2. How do I purchase an article(s) from the archives?
    You can purchase an archive article from the U.S. News Store.

  3. I've already purchased an archived article(s). How do I log in and view the article?
    Click on "Log In" at the top of any page. When prompted, enter your username (your e-mail address) and password. Then, click on the "Log In" button. Once you have logged in, you will have access to the Archives and the number of articles you have purchased. In addition, you will see a yellow link to the Member Center on the left side of the screen. The Member Center provides information on your access to the Archives. Articles will not be emailed or mailed to you.

    No. Articles will not be emailed or mailed to you. You can view the article by logging in.

  5. How long do I have to view an article online after I purchase it?
    Single articles are available for 24 hours from the time of purchase only.

  6. I forgot my password and can't log in. What do I do?

    Selecting a new password involves two stages:

      1. Requesting a temporary password:

        1a. Go to this page: https://secure.usnews.com/premium/forgot
        1b. Enter your correct E-mail address, which is also your username.
        1c. Within moments, you will receive a temporary password, which is VALID ONLY FOR CHANGING YOUR PERMANENT PASSWORD. The temporary password will not grant you access to your premium content. It is valid for 24 HOURS ONLY. If you do not change your permanent password within 24 hours, you will need to complete steps 1a and 1b again.

    At this time, magazine subscribers do not get free access to the magazine archives.
