U.S.News & World Report Introduces Social Network Application to Support America’s Best Graduate Schools
Washington D.C. -- U.S.News & World Report, publisher of America’s Best Graduate Schools, today announced the launch of Gradzilla, a breakthrough Facebook application for prospective graduate school students. Through Gradzilla, Facebook users can conduct extensive research on graduate schools and find programs that best fit their academic objectives.
Using rankings data from the 2009 America’s Best Graduate Schools, Gradzilla provides prospective students with comprehensive information about graduate schools nationwide, as well as interactive tools that enable discussion between Facebook users.
In addition to including rankings of the top graduate schools within the largest disciplines – law, medicine, engineering, education, and business–Gradzilla also allows users to:
• Search for schools by name, discipline, and/or location
• View top ranked schools
• Get admission, tuition, and enrollment information about each school
• Find out where friends are applying to graduate school and where they’re considering going
• View and interact with each school’s profile
• Indicate which schools they have visited, are interested in, been rejected by, etc.
• Create polls for friends to take on a topic of choice such as: “Which school should I go to?” or “Which school has the best campus?”
