Background: Maura Judkis, producer of U.S.News & World Report’s Money & Business section, came to U.S. News in December 2007. Judkis also writes the Fresh Greens blog on usnews.com, where she advises readers on how to save money by being green, and analyzes trends in the green movement from politics to food to art. Judkis’s blog is syndicated on the Huffington Post. Before joining U.S. News, Judkis worked for two years as an assistant producer for WashingtonPost.com’s City Guide, where she helped launch a new City Guide website.
Judkis also contributes to the Washington City Paper, The Onion AV Club, Washington Post Express, and ARTnews. She has written articles for Current Magazine, the Washington Examiner, AM New York, and Newsweek’s college guide.
A native of Pittsburgh, Judkis graduated magna cum laude from the George Washington University in 2007 and received her bachelor’s degree in journalism.
