Colorado Election Overseer To Be Out Of State Tuesday

The New York Times reports Colorado Secretary of State Donetta Davidson "said she would not be in the state monitoring Tuesday's election because of a family emergency." Davidson's brother "was injured in a motorcycle accident in Phoenix on Saturday and remained in a coma in a hospital there. She said in a statement that through at least the end of this week, Colorado's election would be overseen by the deputy secretary of state, William A. Hobbs, and two election officers."
