President Bush and John Kerry both hit the campaign trail for multiple events in the swing states of Florida and Ohio, with Kerry also making a stop in New Hampshire. ABC World News Tonight reports Bush is "now placing his political fate" in a "battleground state network of close to 1 million volunteers, true-blue Bush believers who have been organized by the campaign into a vast get-out-the-vote army, 90,000 of them here in Florida." In Miami, Bush "fired up his troops, especially the many Cuban-Americans in the hall." The Cincinnati Enquirer reports Bush "rallied a raucous crowd of Cincinnati supporters today at Great American Ball Park, telling them that Sen. John F. Kerry has 'entered the flip-flop Hall of Fame' for his position on Iraq."
ABC World News Tonight reports that for his part, Kerry "admits to being a little tired after such intensive campaigning," but he "attended two church services this morning in Ohio" before heading to Florida and New Hampshire.
