Democratic vice presidential nominee John Edwards yesterday visited a Northeast Pennsylvania town hard-hit by layoffs, and according to the AP, "accused the Bush administration of leading the nation from 'the edge of greatness to the edge of the cliff.'" Edwards "promised that he and presidential candidate John Kerry would spread the nation's wealth among more of its citizens."
