Miller Speech To Focus On Kerry's "Miserable Record."
The New York Post says Sen. Kerry's "'miserable record' over the course of his 19-year Senate career will be a focus of Sen. Zell Miller's highly anticipated speech at the Republican National Convention, the renegade Georgia Democrat told The Post." Miller "plans to hit Kerry over his political career one that Miller claims has been spent pushing and voting for far-left issues." Miller said, "John Kerry's record in the Senate is a miserable one it is a disgraceful one." On Fox News Sunday yesterday, Miller said, "I don't think that there has been any senator in recent times, except maybe Ted Kennedy and a few others, who has had such a liberal voting record and has had such a record where he has voted against most of the increases in the weapons systems that we used to win the Cold War and the weapons system that we're using right now to win the war on terrorism."
