Kerry Attacks Bush At Florida Appearance
The Washington Post reports in a piece entitled "But First, a Negative Note," that Sen. John Kerry, "deviating from his plan to speak optimistically during convention week, said Republicans and independents should rethink their support for President Bush or suffer the consequences of more expensive prescription drugs, inferior health care coverage and gravely damaged relations with U.S. allies." The Los Angeles Times reports Kerry "aimed his remarks" at "voters who are not backing his candidacy, challenging them to question their allegiance to the Republican Party." NBC reported last night, "The soon-to-be nominee campaigned today in Florida. During a tour of NASA, Kerry put on a sanitary suit inside a space shuttle orbiter, thus supplying the media with a photo custom made for parody, posted almost instantly on the Drudge Report online."
