"With the storm coming, I talked to my ole lady, and we thought it wasn't going to be that bad. ... I talked to a guy who was there with Sunshine. He said she was opening the door and said, 'This whole building's coming down.' And then she was washed away. There was a 40-foot wall of water. ... There was nothing left of the place but a long slab. They found eight under it, but not her. ... They found her in Ocean Springs. ... I cried 'til I couldn't cry no more; I talked in circles, told the same stories to people. ... Now I understand what love really is. ... She never would say, 'Goodbye.' She always would say, 'Later.'
