Soyba Hamasaeed, 47, tells the story of how she was blinded in the 1988 chemical weapons attack against the Kurds in Halabja. The attack was ordered by Saddam Hussein. Five of Hamasaeed's eight children, along with her husband, were killed. Her 12-year-old daughter, Kocharna Najmaddin, stands next to her.
