The shadow of a border patrol helicopter is seen along the US Mexican border in a remote desert area south east of Yuma, Arizona. The burned out van and barbed wire fence marks the exact border between the two countries. Two years ago the Border Patrol set up Camp Grip, a shiny, silver trailer that serves as an outpost, to address increased illegal traffic in the Yuma sector. The area saw a staggering 54 percent jump in arrests in fiscal year 2005.
