The Final Verdict

Let's assume that the CIA or the military industrial complex did choose Oswald. After Oswald left the book depository, a car would have picked him up to help him escape or to take him to his death. Instead, Oswald was walking around trying to flag down buses and taxis with a few dollars in his pocket.

What was Oswald's motive?

We can draw inferences from a few facts. We know that he had delusions of grandeur and viewed himself in a historical light. One of his squad mates in the Marines said Oswald wanted to do something that people would talk about in 10,000 years. He was an ardent supporter of the Cuban revolution and had a visceral hatred of the United States.

Did you ever doubt Oswald's guilt?

There are 53 pieces of evidence pointing to Oswald's guilt that I outline in the book, but here are a few: The weapon that killed the president belonged to Oswald. Second, he was the only employee of the book depository to run away from the building after the shooting in Dealey Plaza. Third, 45 minutes later, he shoots a police officer. Thirty minutes later, he resists arrest and pulls a gun on the arresting officer. And in his interrogation, he tells one provable lie after another.
