Paying for College

Click the letter to decode

From Ohio Wesleyan's Associate Director of Media and Community Relations Cole E. Hatcher

Lack of a complete Cost of Attendance figure in the letter The school provides all direct costs on its letter and provides information about additional expenses, such as textbooks and travel on its website and in a financial planning guide sent to students.

On renewing the grants The letter does not state it, but the Ohio Wesleyan website says that students must maintain a 3.5 grade-point average to renew presidential scholarships. Although studies show most freshmen's grades drop from their high school average, Ohio Wesleyan says "virtually all" recipients "remain qualified during their time of enrollment."
