| Mission | |
| School mission | Presbyterian College was recently cited by US News & World Report as one of its "Great Schools at Great Prices" as well as one of the top 100 "Best Liberal Arts Colleges." Presbyterian College has also been listed in The Templeton Guide to Character Building Colleges. Acknowledging the College's long history of service to others and our goal of graduating true servant leaders, the College was ranked 1st for Liberal Arts Colleges in the most recent Washington Monthly Annual College Rankings. The College's motto, "Dum Vivimus Servimus" or "While we live, we serve," is exemplified by a significant portion of the student body that actively participates in service projects in and around the city of Clinton and throughout upstate South Carolina. PC claims six SC CASE professors of the year, twice as many as any other institution in SC, exemplifying the outstanding level of teaching our students experience. Close faculty-student relationships set PC apart from other institutions. Our faculty are very engaged with students in the classroom and entertain students in their homes on a regular basis. Many of our alumni have lifetime relationships with former faculty. We consider ourselves to be a liberal arts college fully competitive with the best there is and, at the same time, embraces, examines, and celebrates the Christian faith in the context of the global community. |
