As he continues his tour of the Middle East, President Bush stopped in Saudi Arabia today to discuss Iran, Mideast peace, and democracy. Today was the first time the president had visited the kingdom, an ally of the United States, and he took the opportunity to announce to Congress plans to sell $20 billion in weapons to the Saudis. The announcement was timed to coincide with Bush's arrival in Saudi Arabia.
