Bruce A. Morrison

Bruce A. Morrison represented the New Haven, Conn., area in Congress from 1983-1991, and chaired the House of Representatives subcommittee on immigration, claims, and international law during drafting and passage of the last permanent increase in legal immigration. While in private practice in the early 1990s, he brokered the ceasefire that led to the Mitchell Accords in Northern Ireland, then in the Clinton administration he was the head of the Federal Housing Finance Board. He is now chairman of Morrison Public Affairs Group, which provides strategic advice and advocacy on immigration issues, and he also maintains an immigration law practice.
