America's Best Colleges

Harvard tops the annual list of national universities, while Amherst and Williams tie for the top spot among liberal arts colleges.

America's Best High Schools

We analyzed data from thousands of schools in 48 states to produce our list of the nation's best. One hundred schools earned gold medals, while many more earned silver or bronze medals or honorable mention.

Best Cars & Trucks

U.S. News car rankings are based on our analysis of the collective wisdom of the country's top automotive critics from media companies, consumer research organizations, and other sources.

Best Hospitals

The U.S. News & World Report's Best Hospitals rankings cover 170 hospitals in 16 adult specialties. 50 children's hospitals are covered, using a new and enhanced methodology, in general pediatrics and 6 pediatric specialties. Once again, Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore tops the Honor Roll.

Best Health Insurance Plans

This year's rankings of commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid HMOs and POS plans show useful information about most of America's larger plans as well as the majority of the nation's smaller ones.
