AP PHOTOS: A look at Discovery's notable journeys

This entire space program was an amazing feat and success. The dedication, demand for attention to details to understand the sciences should be propelled to heights never imagined. Instead though, I see a nation of ignorance who care little about the gains that this country has made, the advances in science and industry, and has turned into that of a "what can you give me now" culture that is sad beyond belief.

I commend all who work and have worked in the space industry and we all owe a debt of gratitude to the achievements.
