It is amazing how nature rebalances itself and that some good can come from the calving of icebergs. At the same time, as you said, rising sea levels is not a good thing.

I think it's important to realize that with the amount of carbon dioxide which we, as humans, put into the atmosphere, naturally there will be an effect. When flying, I've noticed when you reach an altitude of about 32,000 feet, you can see the very dark blue sky above, and looking at the distant horizon, you can see how thin our layer of air really is.

With all the new technologies today, it is amazing what we can do even now, to live in harmony with the earth. Electric cars and even an air car, which runs about 100 miles on one overnight charge of compressed air ... these are the things which will lead us into the future, not the continued burning of fossil fuels.
