Do-Gooders Are Unpopular Team Members

I have observed that most, if not all dogooder(s) who set the pace and raise the bar are often victims of work place gangsters usually comprising lazy, uncreative,time wasting 'loafers' who hate to do their job or go the extra mile on the job or whatever they do. the"loafer's" spend more time and energy plotting and building pits or big holes for the dogooder(s) to fall into. They STOP AT NOTHING!

Unfortunately we live in a society where we prefer to gain the most by doing the least, but we also don't want to look like lazy good for nothings. We like to look like we're doing our very best while doing little at all. When a do-gooder comes along we look like lazy, selfish, spoiled brats who expect something for nothing and nobody wants to look like that. To all of the people that raise the bar, hold your head up high and keep doing what you're doing. Let the lazy ones sit in their own misery.

This is how it happens at my work. Do-gooders are doubted by others for their motives. In fact, these folks just want to do the right thing. It is sad but true.

This excellent research well explains why the bad guys win elections all the time, which just makes u just wonder how come. For one thing, the bad guys know how to negotiate and assure everyone of gain whereas the dogooder candidate says: look here, when i win, no one will be allowed the broad way anymore, everyone will be made to sit tight and ride the tight rope. Great research
