I can really agree with that because it makes you feel like you was single out to be put on the spot and makes you lose all confidence in yourself.

I can understand the impact stereotyping can have on someone. I am African-American, and I have been stereotyped many times, but that doesn't bother me. However, being of the black community, I know how others of my race must feel when faced with this unfortunate circumstance. For centuries my race has been afflicted, raped, beaten, put down, and made fun of, which is a primary reason why you see many African-American communities live in poverty, drugs, violence, etc. Our race has been told repeatedly that we don't matter and have no importance. After so long, you start to believe that and give up on hope. Fortunately not all believe this, and I'm one of them. But all cultures have, and still do, experience stereotyping everyday. Its sad but true.

I have been beat down my whole life , until one day I realized that no one can tell me that I am not good enough and that I never will . I am here to let people know that I may not be much in other peoples eyes , but in my children eyes I am improving my self every day. It has been 20 years since I have been out of school and I suffer mental disability's and I will not give up I have a lot to offer and one day some one will know that .

I am in awe of the test, that being said who in their right mind would not get aggressive after being subjected to being stereotyped and placed in any type of prejudice situation. Why am I in awe of the test? It just amazes me that someone with that much education need to perform these types of test when Stevie Wonder could see what is going to happen, and he (Stevie) see a lot of things more clearly than a lot of sighted people it seem.

Personally I think the test is a waste of money, because its common sense that when insulted or marginallised a person with any self worth man or woman or any race on the planet will get annoyed and get aggressive. But look at the positive unless they're weak willed their aggression will actually put to disproving that stereotype. If they're weak willed, and don't have the drive to disprove their agressors then they will perpetuate that stereotype. Also its easier to respect a person who tries and fails, then someone who gives up. These are all universal truths.

Prejudiced people will always be around waiting to lord it over someone or stereotype a race or religion. A person who has a very strong religious upbringing will be equipped to handle such prejudices because of the empathy they will extend to knowing the person inflicting the evil is the one who needs the understanding. I have yet to find a certain race or religion that has the monopoly on everlasting, eternal life or who knows how to resurrect the dead. So knowing this, I can only feel sorry for those stereotyping others on any level or basis. The only personify a manifestation of ignorance on their part for doing so.

I found these implications to be disturbing. If society realized the ramifications felt by those cast into stereotypes, perhaps there would be less discriminating. Every day, we see instances where someone is lumped in unfairly with their counterpart due to ethical background. What happened to the freedom of religion, the freedom of speech? We are supposed to be a diplomacy, but our rights are going down the tubes.

This is such a true anyalsis of the effects of sterotyping,it is my opinion with my experience in getting people to perform not only are you holding down someones ability to perform by breaking their spirit so to speak(this is a real aspect to performace and maintaining a healthy selfesteem),that you can affect that persons abilty to perform at their best level in the future as well. It is never ok to sterotype period! Thank you, Regards, Rose Rogers

Also about black people coming or being brought here to America to become slaves. There were white people who were also were brought here to become slaves. Taken from their homes, and sold right along side of black people.
Its the past! Try to move into better vibrational harmony. I forgive the slave owners who bought my ancesters as slaves. Im proud to be an American!

Wow! What a great discovery/experiment. Those effects last longer than you may think.
