The nation has benifitted greatly from the space programs! The world's people have benifitted from the many breakthroughs that were borne from the needs of the space programs. The nation's technical expertise expanded exponentially duringthe years of the 'space race'!
Wha will happen to all the scientists and engineers when NASA becomes only a memory? Will we recede into a nation without goals?
I think President Obama would do well to maintain our technical world leadership and security! It is a small ptrice to pay for not following the direcction that our goverment seems to leading us!
