Since there's a crying need to inform even a tiny part of our woefully undereducated populace about science, let's chip away at this obsession about global warming. The chief problem posed by global warming is that the process of ice melt into the oceans destabilizes currents responsible for seasonal atmospheric weather patterns which has caused massive glaciation in the past, as the fossil and geological records show. So the issue with global warming is that the heat will be followed by a most hellish cold, a process we don't know whether we can stop or alter. The subtleties of this sequence may be counterintuitive, but well-trained brains can understand them, and so can you...

What will the brown bears (omnivores)do when their polar relatives start encroaching on the salmon & berries ?

Tse Tse of CA 7:59PM March 08, 2010

I am but an un-educated swine,

but I wonder if they could positively ID the jawbone as being from a polar bear.

For your absolute lack of insight into geology, paleontology, or anything science related!

I have had it up to here with all this talk about evolution, gravity, a round earth, electrons, atoms, etc.

Creationists unite!!! Let's all go jump off a bridge together to disprove this so called gravity!!!!

And they are the same Millions of years ago, as they are today. who knew.

DNA in rocks. Now thats funny.

---

lets see some real facts about rocks, proving Evolution is false.

Most likely the Brown bear, etc. have DNA like some fish do. Some fish have lived in Caves for thousands of years with no light, and have no eyes. Yet, the DNA is there. When they are put back into the light, their offspring have eyes.

I was in the sun, and I got in a tan. Evolution!

In the distant past, for millions of years, CO2 levels were 12 times higher than today (4500 parts per million then, versus under 400 parts per million today), and that was a time of ice age temperatures.

We can say the world is carbon dioxide deprived today

Somebody better alert ALGORE - Where is he hiding these days?
