Maybe it's just me but is that the best title you could come up with?? I mean using a colloquial phrase like "terribly smart" to describe the findings of a scientific study not only seems inappropriate.... but I think it's incorrect. Is the opinion of the scientists or that of the author that a DIFFERENCE in learning shows the AHB is not as smart or sophisticated as the EHB??? I have a hard time believing a scientist would draw such an ignorant conclusion.
So lab rats outperform wild collected relatives but if both groups were released into the wild, which group do you think would prevail? It's my guess that those high performing lab rats, would not have the same success in the wild & unfamiliar environment.
My point is that it is shamefully ignorant to conclude that DIFFERENCE in learning one particular skill one specific way, signals inferiority or a lack of intelligence.
