Blowing the Lid Off of Human Language Evolution

To claim that sophisticated language skills resulted from a few extra genes or proteins seems like a bizarre, convoluted attempt to gain funding for scientific research. The truth is that language is closely associated with free will. Neither of them can be explained by the theory of evolution.

It definitely makes more sense that all animals originated from Noah's ark too, including polar bears who survived the trip to the North Pole (but not to the South one), or kangaroos who probably surfed they way to Australia.

Has it ever occured to these people that maybe we did not evolve from anything? It makes much more logical sense to believe that we were created about 6,000 years ago and a flood wiped out all people except for Noah and his family. Then later at the tower of Babel the language of the people was confused and they spread out from there into the different lands with their specific language. From there these languages were changed and altered a bit through history, but they all link back to the original language that was given to them at Babel. This makes sense considering that there are main groups of languages that are not similar to each other, but the ones within these groups are very similar.

Although it may be true that two amino acid changes are not enough to cause speaking, it would be interesting to know if these scientists will try the experiment of introducing the FOX2P gene of humans into chimps.
