Since the auditory sense is fully developed long before birth it is no wonder that babies respond! They know so much, it is us who must open to their intelligence.

I wonder if anyone has ever researched the relationship between the music written by composers of various countries and their spoken language. There is such a striking music or tone pattern underlying fluent speech in different languages it would be a challenge to isolate these patterns and find them repeated in composers of that language but it would seem to be a natural result. Curious in Canada!

What do congenitally deaf babies cry like?

Sirs:

Two days before my grandchild was going to born in 2003, I dreamed that a baby boy had born and he was so pretty, without hair (that means for us that he was going later to have a dark blond hair), and in this dream this baby boy was crying very, very loud and with a very strong sound and over him appeared a banner enrolled at the ends but opened - like the ones used in Christ age and before with the Word of God - and in this banner was written this crying but in a language that I could not understood.

Let me tell you that his father was born in our island of Puerto Rico, and the baby's mother 's parents are from Greece. My grandchild's mother knows and speak with her parents in Greek and my son knows and speak with us in Spanish and both of them speak to each other in English.

Neither my son nor his wife didn't know what was going to born if a baby boy or a baby girl. So as soon as I woke up I told by son that it was a baby boy because I had that dream that night.

The important thing in relation to your studies is that this smart boy that now have six years - almost seven - still crying very loud. But his two younger sisters also.

I hope my personal comment may help you in your investigation which surprised me very much when I have just read this news by internet.

Sincerely,

Maria Navedo

from San Juan, Puerto Rico
