The ice has always returned after natural periods of warming. Glaciation will destroy a significant part of civilization. Ice Ages have happened many times in the past and they will happen again - I note that Earth has been in a cooling trend for the past 5 years notwithstanding ALGORE'S eco-hysteria. When the ice does return even I will wish ALGORE had been right.

As I see it,the retional reason that the earth is steadily heating up year by year is primarily because the harmful chemical gases released from our power plants,chemical factories,automobiles and fossil fuels burning have been seriously damaging the ozone area right above our heads.People sometimes just do not realize or even understand what they did to the earth.If people do not pay enough attention and take necessary steps,"our children and our grandchildren will pay the price" which is the line of film "The day after tomorrow".As to the decline in number who take environmental pollution as the reason for global warming,I think it is primarily because most people are living in so fast pace and their enery are always so exhausted that they do not have any liberty to concern this kind of problem.
