"This work might one day enable faster, low-power computer chips. It could also lead to high-resolution cameras for security and public safety, and cameras that provide clear vision through bad weather."

Developing a more efficient police state does not enhance people's security. Unh-unh. There is something very wrong with a society with this endless "security" hysteria we see in the States and elsewhere. Let's not create the Nazis Mark II, please. With computers.

"Man, I am so glad these bright scientists didn't waste their talents by going into some useless snake-oil field like climatolgy!"[sic]

A society VERY much in denial, indeed.

You people have serious problems. Too bad the rest of the World has ended up paying for them, up to now.

But not for much longer tho' from the looks of things. Thankfully.
