Getting to the Core of H1N1 Flu Deaths

My son, 5 months after having H1N1 with viral pneumonia still continues to have fatigue, shortness of breath requiring inhalers, and frequent nausea and occasional vomiting requiring stomach acid medications. My sister, who had the same flu with no pneumonia still has shortness of breath with just climbing 6 stairs. She also has the same stomach issues, had a gastroscopy done, and it showed she still continues to have stomach and esophagus inflammation from the H1N1.....5 months later. My son was never ill prior to this, and he contracted H1N1 before the vaccine was made available. My sister will be on high doses of Nexium for at least another 6 months. And currently the Nexium is still not releiving her symtoms and she may have Prevacid added. My son takes Pevacid, plus 2 Domperidone, Flovent and salbutalmol inhalers still. And still becomes ill on a weekly basis, picking up every cold or illness kids at school may have. He missed approx 8 weeks at school initially because the pneumonia was hard to clear, and misses approx 1 day a week since. Tires easily. It seems it will never end for my poor little guy... :(

I am hearing from some who have developed fatigue and breathing challenges, shortness of breath and such afterwards. Can anyone share if there are any known complications after this disease?

I am wondering what the death rate from H1N1 is among the other countries of the world, not just the U.S. Anyone know?

...what strange comments! It is like a group of nasty, bitter people who really just want to proof read everyone's work. This is an intriguing observation. Versus sitting around and commenting how the article has an overlooked typo, get out a demand additional scientific based work be done on what could be an amazing correlation. ...and for the conspiracy theorist, do you find it ironic that Vitamin D, a supplement for cow’s milk is noted as an H1N1 factor of resistance, from Wisconsin the Dairy State?
