Just because someone says it, does it make it so ?

It's nice to get grants. Keep getting them. But sell this to someone else.

4.4. 6 to 7 million... It's getting deep.

Stop justifying your grants and do some science.

I disagree with WALTER OF MI, I think that Ardi may just be the real deal. And I don't think that the discoverers are pompous jerks. Can I have more info on Ardi? Thanks! Please email me for more info! Thanks!

If (some)humans, wish to be part of chimps... go for it! split chromosomes ?. If you feel like a cousin from chimps; adapt one chromosome from chimps! so that way... you will know that now you have 47..cr.. plus 4 millions of stupidities..

Perhaps more amazing than this discovery is the astounding ignorance of science that is still out there.

Wow another discovery saying the ancestor of mankind has been found! Since so many times the so called scientists have dated things as much as 4 million years off, I'd say what we have here is Big Foot finally found. Unfortunately it is not alive to bite the discoverers in their pompous butts.

When you have some real evidence that something is as old as you want to propose as being fact, show me the proof. Where is the empirical evidence? Carbon 10 testing is not acceptable. Where did someone draw a picture of it? And who said it always has to look like an ape? Maybe it had a sever overbite!

White people and black people are (obviously) the same species. Ardi is 4.4 million years old, while our own species is around 200,000 years old (not sure of the number, but it's definitely under 500,000). We did first evolve in Africa, and the first people were black, but that's only because the light color of Caucasian skin is an adaptation to less sunshine in higher latitudes. Different skin colors evolved so people could get enough Vitamin D (which comes from sunlight), but not too much UV radiation (which also comes from sunlight). So to answer your question, Ardi was an ancestor of all people, black and white.

dees this information also include white people and since it was found in africa does it mean that the first person in the world was black and living only in africa. i ask because this discoveries are made in africa. thank you reply soon
