Mathematics, in fact, really has connection with wound healing. A more concentrated topical gel, derived from a person's own platelets, can heal wound faster. David Hom, director of the Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Cincinnati, said individuals with platelets six times greater than their normal blood concentrations healed faster during tests they conducted. When combined with careful oxygen and pressure therapies, even chronic wounds of diabetic patients can be cured faster and more easily.
