It's been 6 weeks since the FAA Directive to replace Thales pitot tubes on A330's with Goodrich pitot tubes. Even though the FAA gave airlines four months to do so, given all the reported problems with Thales, it would be nice if the airlines replaced them as soon as possible instead of waiting as long as possible. Does anyone know the current status of the airlines' replacement efforts?
