The title of this article is absurd on its face, but worse, it is not even addressed in the text. Instead, there is little more than a reflexive genuflection to the altar of carbon reductions.

It would be far better to rely upon sound reasoning than to concoct scare tactics that could prompt ill-advised policy responses that are almost certain to generate high current costs that exceed vague benefits that might arise in an unknown future.

The expanionist policies of China might convince the leadership to declare War on the US and Europe so that China would have control of all the World's resources. China's need for resources are like a lot of countries in the past who decided to take away resources from other countries by aggression in order to survive.

But then again we have already considered this as a possibly.
