Positive Parenting Can Have Lasting Impact for Generations

As a licensed family counselor it doesn't surprise me. It certainly gives grounds for preparing future parents before they find themselves 'with child.' Books like those of child psychiatrist Dr. Jack Westman, or books 1, 3 and 5 of the popular free ebook series 'And Gulliver Returns' --In Search of Utopia-- (http://andgulliverreturns.info) give us pause to think, as does the internet essay on licensing parents by philosophy professor Hugh LaFollette. These is much more to effective parenting than being able to exhibit passion in the back seat of a car or in a $25 motel room. Wouldn't it be nice if we had fewer prison inmates and happier families?
