I am a student of Quran. Besides Pagans, it also invites Jews and Christians to Islam, while pointing out the errors that had crept into their beliefs over the course of centuries. Infact it reminds Jews of their chosen status according to which God will help them in extraordinary ways if they follow his call. The initial Arab Muslims were formerly one of three Islamic categories. The jewish and christian sites found in Saudi actually belong to people of God who's deviation was corrected by the last Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). I see no harm in making scientific studies of them. There is no need of feeling insecure.
