I need this for a science project and I can't find them anywhere!

you shmucks who really thinks this earth isnt strongly impacted by global warming caused by our actions. i feel sorry for you.

[I’m not ‘dismiss[ing] the possibility of man-made global warming out of hand.’ I’m showing you that this theory has already been falsified by science. Therefore it cannot be true. So I am asking you to carefully review the sources I’ve cited, which show that. If you find this hard to believe it may be due to the twenty years of repetition having embedded it into your mind as an establish fact. If that is the case, then I ask that you be more careful of what you are willing to believe. The scientific method establishes the rules by which any theory can be falsified. Any theory not subject to the scientific method is beyond the realm of science. Anthropogenic Global Warming has been falsified by the scientific method. Those who continue believing it do so only as an article to faith, which has nothing to do with science.]

I would never concede that ‘IF’, given the conclusions of the scientific method, and because I believe a very large percentage of the problems mankind faces could be solved by reducing the cost of energy. Concerns about CO2 distract attention away from legitimate problems giving politicians a rationale for regulation industry and our energy supply, which only raises costs without providing the benefits they promise. They pretend to be solving problems while they are actually making things worse for millions.

For example, a large percentage of mankind has inadequate access to safe potable water. Technology already exists to desalinize seawater to make it drinkable and suitable for irrigating crops, the oceans being an inexhaustible supply. However desalinization requires energy, making the cost prohibitive to the poorest people in the world. By lowering the cost of energy we can increase the availability of freshwater to the people who need it most. Our standard of living is actually highly dependent on the cost of energy for many similar reasons. Therefore we should be doing everything possible to reduce the price of energy, which is controlled by supply and demand. Therefore we should be doing everything reasonable to increase supply.

In 1988 James Hansen testified before congress to scare us about global warming. See his failed predictions on page 7 of this PDF from NASA’s website as published back then:

http://pubs.giss.nasa.gov/docs/1988/1988_Hansen_etal.pdf

All satellite data, including this from the University of Alabama at Huntsville proves that he was wrong. The predicted warming never occurred:

http://icecap.us/images/uploads/HANSEN_AND_CONGRESS.jpg

2008 was 0.3 degrees colder than 1988, not 0.7 degrees warmer, as Hanson predicted. Had he predicted what actually happened, no one would have seen the need to waste hundreds of billions of dollars. Now the politicians are threatening to burden the economy with their Cap-and-Trade scheme, which amounts to a massive tax increase on all conventional energy usage, to be paid for by you every time you buy something manufactured or transported using energy, which includes nearly everything buy, and your utility bill. It’s ironic how they claim to be protecting the children from doomsday, when they are really impoverishing your children’s future with this additional burden. Here is more background on this deliberate hoax from 1988:

http://icecap.us/index.php/go/joes-blog/hansens_anniversary_testimony/

We are being forced to pay for less reliable, uneconomical sources of energy while being told they are viable alternatives, which is not true. All of the so-called ‘alternative’ sources of energy, including wind and solar, equal less than one percent of mankind’s needs, and do not ever produce enough electricity to pay for themselves, without subsidies. Meanwhile, our far more economical access to hydrocarbon energy and nuclear energy is being throttled for no good reason.

Real scientists (not patronage-money grant seekers) never accepted this theory:

31,478 scientists signed a petition opposing the man-made global warming theory. Their reasoning is outlined in a peer reviewed journal article detailing the evidence that disproved the theory. Please follow this link:

http://www.petitionproject.org/

"The reason why Dr Mörner, formerly a Stockholm professor, is so certain that these claims about sea level rise are 100 per cent wrong is that they are all based on computer model predictions, whereas his findings are based on "going into the field to observe what is actually happening in the real world".

When running the International Commission on Sea Level Change, he launched a special project on the Maldives, whose leaders have for 20 years been calling for vast sums of international aid to stave off disaster. Six times he and his expert team visited the islands, to confirm that the sea has not risen for half a century. Before announcing his findings, he offered to show the inhabitants a film explaining why they had nothing to worry about. The government refused to let it be shown."

This global warming LIE is now more than twenty years old. If you haven’t discovered the truth of this by now it’s only because you don’t want to. It is a waste of scarce resources to continue spending money to solve a problem that doesn’t exist and never did.

Quoting a petition signed by 31,478 scientists:

“There is no convincing scientific evidence that human release of carbon dioxide, methane, or other greenhouse gasses is causing or will, in the foreseeable future, cause catastrophic heating of the Earth's atmosphere and disruption of the Earth's climate. Moreover, there is substantial scientific evidence that increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide produce many beneficial effects upon the natural plant and animal environments of the Earth.”

Their reasoning is outlined in a peer-reviewed journal article with evidence disproving the entire global warming theory. Please follow this link:

http://www.petitionproject.org/

Anyone willing to look at the evidence and smart enough to understand what they read knows that this theory was already conclusively disproved. Those who continue to promote it anyway are frauds who have no interest in the climate science at issue. Sources cited in my previous comments illustrate that the Earth has been cooling for more than ten years now, and that our world is now colder than it was in 1988 when politicians and activists first tried to scare us with this hoax.

that simple little aspirin tablets are more important for blood thinning and heart attack prevention than for pain relief. We may also recall that both Viagra and Post-It Notes are the result of accidental discoveries in research being conducted for something else.

While we're debating CO2 and climate clange, let's experiment like crazy with this molecule that acts as a "sponge". Let's also experiment with the "artificial tree" devices being touted as a means to turn carbon dioxide back into oxygen with the carbon captured.

2008 was 0.3 degrees colder than 1988, not 0.7 degrees warmer as he predicted. Since 1988 the federal government has wasted $79 billion on this non-existent problem:

http://scienceandpublicpolicy.org/images/stories/papers/originals/climate_money.pdf

When will journalists stop lying about the climate?

We are being forced to pay for ‘alternative’ sources of energy that never pay for themselves with the energy they produce. This is why wind and solar energy, don’t even supply one percent of mankind’s needs. Producing Ethanol from corn actually consumes more energy than the amount of energy you get from the Ethanol. This creates a net loss of energy, while driving up the price of corn. Whether or not that ‘works’ depends on whether you are trying in good faith to produce an abundant sustainable supply of energy, or you are just trying to control a greater share of the economy for your own political purposes. Since it has already been proven that CO2 doesn’t cause climate change, efforts to control it are only efforts to control the economic activities that produce CO2. This is nothing more than greed disguised as concern for the environment. So our access to hydrocarbon energy and nuclear energy is being throttled for no good reason.

Regarding concerns about sea level rise:

"The reason why Dr Mörner, formerly a Stockholm professor, is so certain that these claims about sea level rise are 100 per cent wrong is that they are all based on computer model predictions, whereas his findings are based on "going into the field to observe what is actually happening in the real world".

Journalists are very slow to realize that their readers now have far more choices than they had 10 years ago. If you want to keep your readers, you had better be honest with them.

Barry of CA 5:36PM July 28, 2009

Journalists will apparently be the last ones to discover that the Earth has been cooling since 1998. Their lack of curiosity on this subject has them parroting whichever politician or political activist shares their ideology. There is no reason to sequester CO2 because it has already been proven not to cause global warming. This is just another opportunity to waste tax dollars while politicizing science. It’s really a money sponge.
