I don't see how a politician, former President Bush or current cz, sorry, President Obama could do much about this. Maybe Obama will appoint two czars, one for each protein, to government offices.

Seriously, each one of us needs to call down people that don't use soap and hot water when you see them walking out of a restroom without washing their hands. Each one of us has a responsibility to our children to teach them at an early age to wash their hands often and correctly and to make sure our homes and workplaces are stocked with soap and hot water along with paper and not blow dryers to dry your hands. You can then open the door, using a second clean paper towel, to leave the restroom at work and to get back into you office if you work in such an environment. I guess I'm trying to say to use good hygienic sense after using the restrooms. NEVER use a dirty restroom at a service station unless you absolutely have to. And if you eat in a restaurant...order water and then check the cleanliness of the restroom...that should tell you something about the restaurant and their staff's cleanliness. Am I going overboard here? not if you get a virulent form of H1N1 or some other flu bug that we don't know about yet.
