i'm happy to hear about that the wobble method used for observing planets has yielded some nice results. though, it's a shame that we as humans will probably need another 200 - 400 or more years before we can even think about blasting off & visiting those planets without taking forever to showcase close-up photos. the rocketry technology being as under-advanced as it is in 2009, i would hope some company like lockheed martin or boeing could soon develop
technology to make a trip to the stars realized in a short amount of time (say,.. within the next 60 - 70 years possibly?).

I totally agree! Growing up in the late '60's and the 1970's, nothing was more exciting that NASA! I can't wait to read daily comments from the moon! Maybe by then, we will have stopped trying to wipe each-other out here at home!

We live in a society that covets its technological baubles (cell phones, hand-held game systems) yet is largely unaware of the progress being made in space exploration. Organizations such as NASA need the public's support in order to continue research into one of the most fundamental questions of our time; Are we alone in the universe?.
