Do you think first-time home buyers should be required to get financial counseling?

  1. 10.26% No way -- the housing market will never rebound if the government puts more barriers in the way to making purchases.
  2. 20.51% It depends on the buyers -- if an agent senses that buyers have no idea what they're doing, then they should be required to send them to a class.
  3. 29.49% Yes -- the housing collapse proves just how badly most people understand mortgages.
  4. 39.74% I'd take it even further -- we should all get financial counseling throughout high school and college, so we become a nation of mini-Suze Ormans.
