What an idiot. This the worst economic decline since the Great Depression. Japan has been in a sinkhole for 20 years. So we are supposed to magically recover in less than 4 years?

Doesn't Zuckerman realize that the LAST administration has created a condition so bad that no one could correct it in one administration? I once thought Zuckerman was a heavyweight but it is clear to me now, he is an amateur politician.

Dear Tired of It,
The H1B program is not to replace American engineers. The US does not have enough engineers which is why companies are opening offices overseas to hire foreign engineers.
Steve Jobs ( fellow Democrat) told that to Obama in 2010 and he has failed to address the issue.
Why? Because Obama does not want to fight the educational system teachers unions and treat the teachers as professionals where if they are not doing their job the principals can fire them.
He also failed to address the issue for companies to expand into the US because of the bureaucracy by local and federal government.
Obama does not want to partner with business he rather antagonize them and police them which is why business is afraid to hire employees.

Mr. Zukerman PLEASE help us send Obama back to Chicago! He took it seriously that he's the Messiah, humiliate Netanyahu to please the Arab world, in return they do what they want. When he took office Isarel and Palestinians were in DIRECT talks till he commented about the setelments in East Jerusalem then Abbas climbed the high tree that even Obama can't bring him down. I'm not Netanyahu supporter but the way Obama treated him like 3rd world country leader is despicable. In 08 the mainstream media were bewiched by him, they went viciously after Hillary Clinton. I and many are frustrated because she WAS ROBBED from the presidency. Many now regrating not voting for her. Obama promised to unite us (remember "there is no red/blue America but the United States of America") but he divided the county. Can you tell us what the purpose of Simpson-Bowls committee if Obama STILL IGNORING its finding? He ignored GOP in both Houses as long as he has majority, bribed legislators to vote for HC bill (Chicago style).
The real change that he brought to Washington leading Chicago way, THE politicaly corrupt city in the world! My way or the highway, can't accept criticism, few days ago he blamed the media which reporting the truth about the economy situation, the next day he apeared in "The View" how HYPOCRITE!
I hoped like many that Hillary challenged him, unfortunately she didn't do it.

Hey "Mort" (Latin for "dead", or "dying"...an appropriate meaning for your ideas), from the context of what you propose for the H1-B program, I think I get your overall point: you want to replace American engineers with foreign engineers (who get paid less), and in return, those foreign engineers will create jobs domestically, like at McDonald's and Walmart. Good idea Morty. I have a better idea: let's replace journalists with dead or dying thought processes with foreign journalists. Hopefully they eat a lot of fast food and buy cheap TVs at Walmart.

Excellent article Mort.
However, I doubt you will ever convince a single liberal that the current policies are not the greatest things to ever happen to America.
The whole country could be in flames and they would be calling for a 10 year environmental study about the need for windmill powered firetrucks.
