Obama's Anti-Business Policies Are Our Economic Katrina

Barry has NEVER worked in the business/corporate world, so he knows NOTHING about forming an entity, making a proposal to a client, preparing loan documents or spreadsheets for a bank, marketing a product or service, managing payroll, hiring personnel, preparing tax forms or any of the 100 other things small, medium and large businesses have to do to be successful every week.

He has a bias AGAINST ANYTHING BUSINESS, HEALTHCARE or people who bust their A** and become successful and make a lot of money. He is baised because he feels slighted when he was younger and know that he snowed the majority of the voters into electing him he is taking out his revenge. People should be REWARDED for success and not punished as long as it is done legally and ethically.

Barry is an academic, nothing more and nothing less which is why you see ALL of the people around him with a similar background and way of thinking. It's like listening to some college professor lecture about business when they HAVE NEVER been in business, only sat behind the safety net of an academic institution and discussed ideas or lectured others. It's an ENTIRELY different world when you have to generate business for your business.

The only time he is pro business is when they are pumping money into his campaign, other than that he could care less about the bsuiness community and for all you IDIOTS who voted for this guy, this is what you get.

You are telling the turth about Obama but where are the rest of your friends who cover for him and his stupid policies! The media does not explain the principle that there is NO FREE LUNCH and there are unattended consequences from his policies. He's sending all of our jobs overseas where they do not tax and heavily regulate every company who makes money. He's killing our economy single-handedly!

Most of you idiots voted for this imcompetent fool we call President.

You idiots were told what Obama was all about but you idiots did not want to listen.

So......STOP COMPLAINING.

As a small businessman with a stable payroll, I reject this huey that the threat of taxes prevents me from hiring. I am only taxed on profits. If I hired an extra person to do the same work as already exists, my profits would be lowered so hiring would result in me being taxed less. If hiring someone raised my profits (due to increased business) then I would pay more taxes on more profits and I am still ahead.

SherlockHolmes of NH: "... he is after a far-left agenda to grow government and government regulation, reduce individual liberty and decisions, and transform this country into a European-style government."

If only. Obama is hardline Soviet Union-style 1930s socialism. It is way beyond anything that Europe has seen in at least half a century. European-style government is what the useful idiot regular Dems want; the Netherlands, Denmark, France. I'm Dutch and I can assure you that the Netherlands at the moment is more capitalist and entrepreneurial than America. Younger generations of Americans are brainwashed to love totalitarian socialism and that is what they are getting.

Peter Verkooijen of NY 8:05PM July 19, 2010

It is infuriating to see how utterly clueless Americans are. Obama is an old-fashioned marxist-leninist. What did you expect?!

Obama doesn't give a damn about "individualism, courageous entrepreneurialism, pragmatism, adaptability, and innovation". And those traits did not come from the frontier or any other mystical source; individual liberty and free enterprise were protected by the Constitution. That is why people from all over the world used to come to America, myself included. Obama doesn't give a damn about the Constitution either.

Obama is restructuring America for a centrally planned economy. He brought under direct government control whatever he could get away with. Whatever's left of the private sector will be run by boards comprised of government, labor unions and management along corporatist lines, or "public-private partnerships" in Obama's euphemism. Verelendung will only help Obama's agenda along.

You voted this demagogue in. You legitimized him. You demonized his opposition. And you still don't get it.

Peter Verkooijen of NY 7:53PM July 19, 2010

There is so little understanding of the role of the private sector in America and of the huge difference, economically, between a private job (profit creating and both self-financing and government financing) and government created job (non-self-financing and constantly requiring funding by taking from the more vital private sector).

The dangers of America becoming more government sector driven are real and far reaching. This is about who we are and how we have risen to the top. And we are in danger of losing it.

I commend Mr. Zuckerman for seeing the light. Too many Democrats are Bitter Socialist Clingers -- still unable to face up to the fact that they were taken in by the 2006 Congress and this Obama administration.

As bad as it's been over the past few years, the headlong Statist agendas promoted by Obama and abetted by the Democrat-controlled Congress are about to push the American economy into the abyss, with more good money following bad, taken from the pockets of the American taxpayer and small corporate America.

The comparison of this economic devastation, at the hands of Obama, his Czars, and Congress, to Hurricane Katrina is vastly understated and lets these mongers off far too easily.

Mort Zucker voted for Obama.

Mort Zucker CREATED THE OBAMA PROBLEM.

Mort should be banished from publishing anything again.
