Mort Zuckerman: Why No Outrage for Anti-Israel, Phony Flotilla?

It perplexes me why we continue to care about this at all. It's glaringly obvious that neither of these backward societies wants peace and will do anything to prolong and exacerbate their jihad against the other, including sponging off you and i, the honest American taxpayer. A responsibility that we never asked for by the way.

The only reason this even gets any news while slaughters go on in backwater s***holes like Darfur is because it's relevant to the interests of the powerful evangelical lobby in this country. They're highly influential and manipulative, and they'll do whatever it takes to scare Jo Six-pack into believing we need to support this war while Uncle Sam bends us over to jam his star spangled d*** further up our collective butts.

If these idiots want to duke it out over some dusty scrap of worthless dirt in the middle of a desert, I say we let them. It's not my holy war and I don't want my tax money spent on it. Whatever happened to doing what the American people want?

Where is the UN when 150 rockets are landing in a terrorist campaign to murder Israelis? Nowhere because the UN is Muslim dominated! Global terror has a global political backing--the Muslim dominated UN..

And Obama gave hundreds of millions of dollars to Hamas in Gaza in "aid" and spent about 20 MILLION dollars bringing "refugees" from Gaza to the US. When will Americans learn that Democrats are socialist saboteurs and traitors? Shalom to all peace loving people.

If this is true, "...140 Palestinian suicide bombers crossed from the West Bank into Israel, killing 500 Israelis. Israel was, of course, denounced when it finally did something about this, announcing that it would build a wall and fence around the West Bank and parts of Jerusalem. Since 2006, when large sections were complete, there has not been a successful suicide attack launched from those areas. Similarly in Gaza, after Israel waged a controversial war, the number of rockets dropped by over 90 percent to 150 so far this year. That’s 150 too many attempted murders, but it is down from thousands in previous years." then it makes sense to me.

In fact, Israel should put birth control in the food supply. This will keep the economic oppression of big families off the Palestinians w/c will mollify the anger of poverty AND decrease the rate of growth of a population so filled with hate towards Israel and the west.

What do you teach in Palestinian history class? Is there a Palestinian language? How long have Palestinians laid claim to that land? Can you find any definition whatsoever of Palestinian (except for Philistine...which would mean that you were reading the Bible...which would mean that you accept that this is (was) the land of the Jews.)

Most of the comments here contain the major thread that we should all be shouting toward the major media. The flotilla is a sham, and a dangerous one at that. Some several hundred civilians have been stupid enough to actually challenge a naval blockade. They should have known from the beginning that death would follow...why should anyone feel badly for them? To use the American vernacular...you got what had (have) coming dumbass! Let's get a couple of things straight. There has never in human history been a nation called Palestine. The difficulty here has always been in understanding that the the God of the Jews dispersed them among the nations in order to punish them for the sin of hanging one of their own on a tree. They ended up in Russia, Poland, Germany, Austria, etc... That has never negated the fact that Jerusalem is their home. 6 million Jews were burned alive in ovens, or gassed, or tortured in the name of medical science. Just in case everyone forgot, the Nazis also killed the enemy of war, the Gypsies, the homosexuals, the intellectuals that had enough cojones to point out that the government was propagating wrong information, etc...Israel is not wrong. Shame on anyone who says otherwise. Please, any lawyers out there, present a well researched case, without the court of common public opinion, and prove that the Israelis are criminals! I don't think you can, but then again because I'm an American who supports Israel, I expect to be shouted down...again.

"USA is multinational communities country and there are a lot of rules how each community should manage its behavior without irritating all country.

Jewish community (2,2% of national population) opposed its

nationalistic interests to the 97,8 % of USA population. For more than half century Jews are setting on the neck of american

taxpayers ( more than $5 billion a year) and still they are not

capable to build good relationship in region they invaded in.

Enough is enough. Americans need these money for their elders and children. Civil Court must be filled."

The title of this outrageous display of hate and ignorance is "Jew Community of USA" and I just had to recapitulate it for others on this thread just to remind them of the ugly face of bigotry and ignorance. In the first place, the post is so awkwardly expressed and in such poor English that it is actually difficult to understand very well. In the second place, there is no truth in it at all just incomprehensible spewings from someone long on hate and short on intellect.

I realize that incidents like the IDF attack on the Mavi Marmara near Gaza last week foment hatred of Israel and perhaps even of Jews themselves. But there is no excuse for attacking all Jews without even first looking at both sides of the issue. I have myself been a severe critique of Israel for a long time. I oppose the continued illegal occupation of Palestinian land and believe in a complete Israeli withdrawl to the pre-1967 boundaries so that the Palestinians can have a viable independant state. I also believe that the Gaza blockade should be lifted and more aid allowed through since there is a deficit of basic needs in poverty striken Gaza.

I also believe that Hamas is responsible for most of the suffering in Gaza because of their armed takeover of the Gaza Strip in 2007. They brought on the Israeli assault with rocket fire into southern Israel. They also tried to tunnel into Israel in November 2008 to commit acts of terrorism so they and not Israel were actually responsible for the breaking of the ceasefire.

It is also a fact that the Israeli Navy attempted to contact the ship several times and warn the ship's captain not to approach the blockade. Israel promised to deliver the aid to Gaza after the ships were inspected at the port of Ashdod. Israel would also allow the activists to observe and ensure the aid being delivered. This offer was met with defiant insults such as "go back to Auschwitz" and "we support the Arabs so remember 9/11." This obvious deliberate attempt to provoke a violent confrontation with the IDF for political purposes for publicities sake makes this "mission" more about politics than peaceful humanitarian assistance.

It is clear that Hamas represents Iranian interests more than it does Palestinian interests. Iranian interests are purely about spreading terrorism as they have been since 1980. The Palestinians need to select better leaders. Hamas is bad news.

"'m surprised that someone took Mort Zuckerman's word that Israel would have allowed the supplies in had the ships docked in Israel or Egypt. There is no evidence to support that claim whatsoever"

Not so.

Fact: Humanitarian relief is delivered to Gaza from Israel on a daily basis. During the first three months of this year, 94,500 tons of supplies were transferred to Gaza from Israel, including 48,000 tons of food products; 40,000 tons of wheat; 2,760 tons of rice; 1,987 tons of clothes and footwear; and 553 tons of milk powder and baby food for the strip’s 1.5 million inhabitants. Representatives of international aid groups and the United Nations move freely to and from the Gaza Strip.

The wicked hearts of evil men and nations seeks to destroy our Beloved Israel. They stay up late and rise up early plotting against Gods Anointed, to attempt to destroy Israel, to push her into the Sea. Be it known and understood that should Israel be pushed into the Sea, The Sea would Dry up immediately! This of course will never happen because Almighty and Most High God Protects and Defends Israel!

Woe to those that lease, rent, parcel or part out Gods Israel for the sake of peace is a false claim by those that believe they have removed The Immovable One. In Yeshua HaMassiachs Name Israel will never be left unattended, unprotected or un delivered from the wicked plans of evil men and nations! The Tribe Of Judah and The house of Joseph will soon Be Gathered and United and the sons of Esau will be no more!

The enemy knows his time is short and foolishly attempts to reclaim the BirthRight Esau gave up willingly further fulfilling that which was Prophesied, the elder will serve the younger. We Must Stand Up, Step Forward and Support our Beloved Israel. Pray for those you know and Love and Please Pray for those who have no one to Pray for them or to care about them.

If we do not, then upon whose heads and hands will the Blood of their souls fall?

Shalom Israel. Shalom Jerusalem. Shalom Gods People everywhere we are for in all places we lift our voices and our Prayers for Shalom and Blessing Upon and Within you. We Praise Father God for His Divine Protection and Divine Deliverance of You Oh Beloved Israel from all wicked hearts and plans of evil men and nations. So Be It, Be It So and It Is So In Yeshua HaMassiachs Name Amen
