Celebrating America's Spirit of Giving

Obviously you really don't know what is going on in other countries Mr. Zuckerman. You don't think that the fact that Europeans give a lot in taxes doesn't make them a philanthropic society? How many homeless, starving, poverty stricken people do you see in Western Europe? How many homeless are there in the streets of Zurich, Rome, Berlin, and Stockholm? Compare that to the number of homeless in the streets of Los Angeles, New York, Boston, Miami, and countless other metrolopolitans in the US... Europeans have realized that their society has to give in taxes in order to come to the point where ALL people live comfortably. The poor who cannot find a job atleast have a shelter, a home, and some money for food. The middle class who works and provides taxes has a bit extra money to buy a nicer place but at the same time provide to those below. And the wealthy provide tons in taxes but still have enough money to buy that Audi A8, or that Ferrari, or that Porsche and enjoy the fruits of their labor... America isn't there yet... But they are getting there. They are realizing that stinginess isn't paying off and I don't think the wealthy can keep raping the Middle Class in this country any longer. It's starting to burst. The Middle Class is being driven up the wall in taxes and costs and just don't have the capacity to grow any longer. They are being squeezed. At least the Middle Class in Europe get to have free healthcare, full retirement benefits, FREE UNIVERSITIES...

Here in America, yes, we do have great Universities... But it's ridiculous for a college student to graduate with a BA and have $60,000 in debt (which is on the cheap side) to pay back. Or all these ridiculous fake colleges (like University of Phoenix and all those others) that are opening to give bogus degrees... A BA and a MBA are just worthless today in this country...

Mr. Zuckerman, you can deny all that you want and paint a fake picture to the American public of how Europe is bad with all their taxes and how America is good without taxes, but the Middle Class in this country is getting screwed and the homeless continue to grow at an exponential rate... Facts that are difficult to deny, just go walk the streets of any major US city. You'll see what I'm talking about...
