I know I will sound a bit strange but as with Noble and explosives which was the end of all weapons only to be topped by others as nuclear. When if they ever are stupid enough to use one the only recourse will be there elimanation. There will be no inacent people.The shame is the powers to be don't pay. This said we should allow dispots to be removed by any means as in the end it will protect some of the inacents.

Although it is difficult to agree with much that Ahmadinejad says, I believe that he may have a point when he says that it is their right to develop nuclear energy. However, I do not confess to being comfortable with having an unstable country possessing nuclear material. Where do you draw the line between taking safety precautions and interfering with what may be a country's right?

We all have a fairly clear idea of what has been said by Iran's leadership. We also have some notion of what the US government believes as far as Iran's politics as far as Islamic law and belief is. However, these two mountains will never meet on common ground, because of the inmobility as far as coming to understand profoundly the true sentiments and intentions of one another. The mountain will have to move. This seems to be an impossible task. The reality that Faith in Love and Compassion does move mountains, and even enlightens the mind.
Our minds are filled with dark sadows. Our hearts have become hardened towards one another. We are like blind men who refuse to be lead by someone with the ability to see. No one in their right mind could contemplate Neuclear War between nations on this already devestate Planet, Earth. If so, then, we have lost the war before it ever begins.
A very wise man once said, "the blind leading the blind results in the two falling in a hole." A surely an eye for an eye will ultimately result in all becoming blind. There is no true religion that exist teaches hatred for our fellowman. I have studied vertually all the major religions. I have only found the teaching of Love for ones neighbor. The Christian relgioun, according to the Gospel, even tells us to Love our enemies and to do good to those who persecute us.
It is hard to believe that we have fallen so far from these teachings of Love and Forgiveness. As long as we give lip-service to what we hold a secret and good, we will remain as the inmovable mountains without sensitivity for our true nature, which is to preserve our humanity at any cost. This is not pie-in-the-sky thinking. It is the reality of self-preservation and the preservation of humankind.
History has taught us that nothing of lasting value is accomplish by War. We might ask ourselves this question. How are we different from that first human being who lifted up his hand against his brother? What has been truly accomplished by us waring against one another? I say absolutely nothing.

Why is there a double standard to Israel & other countries in the middle east? Iran has never attacked any country. Between Israel, Britian, and the U.S. the list of attacked nations is very long indeed. And they all have nuclear weapons. The pressure of the Israeli lobby in the U.S. drives forign policy and these policies have had detrimental consequences for the U.S. both politically and economically. The U.S. population had better wake up to that fact.

Iran has said over and over has no intention to have nuclear weapon since that is against Islamic faith to have a weapon of mass distraction .IAEA reports over and over proven Iran speaking a truth.
We all know US used a atomic bomb in Japan and has 1000’s of nuclear weapon so is Israel and other nation yet since the beginning .despite during a shah regimes US was building nuclear facilities in Iran
But After Iranian revolution and closure of US embassy and Israel US like a wounded bear has gone after Iran and have been trying to over throw the regime the latest attempt was recent election and their velvet coup which failed.
Now I and the world knows US and Europeans have their hand in Israeli hand trying to accuse Iran having atomic weapon.

what you mean mind our own business...everyone will be affected by these bullys and their dang...eventhough it's on the other side of the world, do something before its too late.....I hope the U.S. still have the atomic ready to blow them out if they still want to do that>>>..stop the roaches...they want to rule the world who are living in peace.....no more world war.....stop it right there.

Mort Zuckerman knows very well the meaning of a country fooling the whole world anf getting away with it. Israel, lied about its nuclear program. From 1961 to 1968 Israel denied having a nuclear weapons program. It would agree to inspections of its facilities above ground but refuse to allow inspection of its underground facilities. Why not writing an article on the history of WMDs in the Middle East instead of continuing the game of "history started yesterday"?

Iran is on the other side of the world. We got them mad us by medling in their politics and imposing the Shaw. That was wrong. The simple fact is that any nation that wants nukes can get them. There is no secret there. The US spend to much time and to much money trying to control other people. All that does is make us enemies. We should spend the money on making the US energy independant. Being a control-freek nation is like a national psychosis. Like all control-freeks we tend to become the bully on the block. Like all control-freeks we tend to fail because we are creating a pressure cooker that will eventually explode in our face. I'd rather no one had nukes but that isn't reality and it isn't reasonable to expect that those who fear us will not want them. After all they do work as a deterent to us.

My Father was able to see the flash at the end of WWII. He told me he cried when he witnessed it. People, its not the bomb that is dangerous.
