I am a republican and I think my government has failed the ameriCAN PEOPLE MISERABLy. McCain is hitting hard with decetions and lies. I have an idea that will hit back. Obama should run an ad called "Once upon a Time in America" shows the foreclosure, show the 2 wars, show neighborhood as ghost town with weeds blowing thru the streets, show folks under McCain how devasting the ecomnomy will be, shows long lines waiting for food, show people losing their jobs etc etc. Then turn around and show under Obama, prosperity will be here again just like the Clinton years. Try doing this and I can assure you that Obama will be in the White House comes next janauary. Justg my 2cents.

Chapter 1 in Karl Rove play book says " Lie Lie Lie " enen if it's not true but sounds good use it. A large number of people in this country are stupid and will believe any thing if it's on TV with out checking the facts.

Berg vs. Obama, Civil Action No. 08-cv-4083, in Federal Court

What is going on here! Is it true that Obama was born in Kenya Africa. Is it true that there are no records of his mother giving birth to him at any hospital in Hawaii.

Is it true that his Grandmother, and half-sister have said he was in fact born in Kenya.

Is it true that Republicans have records to prove Obama was born in Kenya.

And is it true that he was registered as a citizen of Indonesia as a Muslim.

Is there any truth to any of this. Where is the major media on this story. Have they investigated this. Has any of the above been proved untrue.

If any of the above is true this is very serious.

What's up!

Is McCain fit to lead America?

McCain brags that he has no idea how to use a computer and proudly states he has knows nothing about economics. He does know (or has been told by the military-industrial complex) that he wants us to remain in Iraq for another 10 years.

McCain hasn't accomplished much during his 30 years in Washington. Even his own campaign doesn't trumpet his successes, probably because the few victories he's had still rankle Republicans.

McCain says he doesn't understand the economy. He's demonstrated that he doesn't understand the workings of Social Security, or the political history of the Middle East. He doesn't know who our enemies are. He says he wants to reduce global warming, but then proposes ideas that would stimulate - not reduce - demand for fossil fuels.

After years of honing a reputation as a guy who'll say the truth regardless of the political consequences, McCain has crashed the Straight Talk Express. On almost every issue where he took a principled stand against the Republican line - taxes, immigration, oil drilling, the Religious Right - he's now changed his views.

His major accomplishment, in Vietnam and in the Senate, has been merely to survive.

AND, just surviving doesn't make you a decent president. America needs to do more than just survive the next four years.

McCain has not won anything. McCain knows that he is hanging on by a thread and the only thing keeping him in the game is those attack ads. He can't go toe-to-toe with Barack on the issues because it will show how "in the bag" he is with Bush. I will take a liberal over the atrocities of the Bush administrative any time. I voted for Bush and he has ruined this country. Democrats have a track record for turning this country around every time the Republicans have run it into the ground. McCain is an elitist old man that is out of touch with mainstream America. McCain does not feel the pain of the average American, he actually believes that the economy is sound. He will give 4 billion dollars in tax incentives to big oil companies at a time when the cost of gas and diesel fuel is sky high. He voted 25 times against renewable energy and energy conservation. He will privatize social security; he is a senior citizen and could care less about assisting them with social security and Medicare. He cheated on his first wife, which the Republicans explain away because his POW status. Wrong is wrong, cheating on your wife is never an option, even as a prisoner of war. Yes, John McCain is a war hero, but what has he done for this country lately? This does not give him foreign policy experience as some would suggest. Republicans know that McCain is the wrong man at the wrong time. In the past he has made a mockery of the Republicans, but he is their only hope, in need of a string and a prayer.

Obama’s desperate enemies, the Neo-Con Republicans and Neo-Lib Democrats in positions of power in government, education, industry, teacher and labor unions, and news and entertainment media continuously strive to induce presidents, congressmen, and judges to serve as their political prostitutes. Their Crypto-Neo-Marxist divisive politics and notorious subversive contempt for nationalism, Christian culture, Constitutional Law, Kennedy Liberals and Reagan Conservatives make them an increasingly intolerable threat to the American People fighting in the escalating Cultural War.

Having had their notoriously vicious and crooked candidates, Leiberman Neo-Lib Clinton and Podhoretz Neo-Con McCain defeated; they have stopped their hate-baiting and slandering, and have cunningly started their tactical systematic ingratiation to Obama, with flattery and money.

Shall Obama prostitute himself; or shall Obama prosecute them? Shall he keep counsel with Liberal Kennedy and Conservative Reagan, or shall he keep counsel with Neo-Lib Clinton and Neo-Con Bush? Shall he be their master, like Kennedy and Reagan; or shall he be their slave, like Clinton and Bush?

The Obama campaign would appear to have consistently responded quickly to the issues raised by Republicans. You have only to check their website or you could go to Obamatracker.com.

The pathetic part of this whole "game" is that the republican party is all based on GREED.Their greed and the greed of the wealthy people who get their tax write-offs from the republican party is so obvious. All of this while our country is going down the tubes! Please Americans, stop being so greedy. We must think of the future of our country and our children and our grandchildren. O'bama is nieve but he's SMART, he's HONEST, and because he's smart, he can get the right people to give him guidance and make decisions that are to the countries benefit as well as the benefit of ALL the people of our beloved country! HELP BARACK HE'S THE ANSWER TO OUR COUNTRIES PRAYERS. Prayers will not do it, Your votes will! We must protect the middle class and the poor.Believe me, the rich will take good care of themselves! Obama is too weak to "hit back".

His associations with terrorists, his extreme brand of liberalism, his shady dealings with Rezko, his total lack of experience, all make him so weak he is in no position to strike back at McCain.

Example: When he attacked McCain on the "number of houses" issue, McCain quickly struck back with the shady real estate deal with Rezko. After Obama big trip to Europe and the Middle East, the Russian invasion of Georgia fell right into McCain's lap -- and one that McCain could legitimately pound on Obama's weak foreign policy position about.

The reality is that the Democrats have run an exceptionally weak candidate for the third time since the Clinton Era. The Democrats are losing because of their own choice.

Does anyone doubt that had they chosen a more moderate Hillary they would be in a better position? Or even had the extreme liberal Obama chosen Hillary as a VP candidate rather than another extremist (Biden)?

The Democrat party is going to have to recognize that most of America, the people whose support they need, are not extremists and won't vote for an extremist.

You're correct in blaming the Democrats for losing, but it isn't because of their failure to fight back. It is because they continue running candidates who simply aren't qualified to hold the office and cannot stand next to the superior candidates they face in the general election.
