It wasn't a gaffe. It's the pattern. ABC asks the question about as relevant as birth control, then it's in the news. Now it's the next distraction from Obama's failing economy. Now it's wall-to-wall in the media.

But, imho, running against most of the country on this issue is going to worsen his chance of re-election.

What a load of embarrassing, Obama- and Biden-apologist drivel.

I don't think it's so "brilliant" when the out-of-touch Obama Administration dances the Texas Two Step!

....it only presents additional confusion in our White House!

Part 2

There is another factor for bum-bum concerning pipeline. Warren Buffet choo-choo train transports oil from Canada.

Build pipeline Buffet loses money. bum-bum may lose campaign donations...

Bum-bum made it clear he was against gay marriage in CA when he opposed a vote to allow. It failed.

You speak of the back & forth. That applied to the pipeline from Canada. Against makes unions mad because of loss of jobs. For makes GREEN mad. bum-bum gathered ALL HIS STRENGTH and postpones decision until after election. Such a BACKBONE our LEADER HAS to make those 3:00 am difficult choices...

It is indeed a political ploy from Obama to not state his views about gay marriage.

His base consists of African Americans and Hispanics. These groups oppose gay marriage more than they support. If Obama says that he supports gay marriage, he loses this base.

In addition, if Obama supports gay marriage, it gives evangelists a reason to go vote for Mitt, whom they do not like at present.

It is indeed a good ploy to let Biden be Obama's spokesperson on this matter without Obama having to state his support for gay marriage.

To the gay people who seem to associate today's NC vote to somehow imply that Obama's ploy isn't brilliant, you do realize that NC would have voted that way even if Obama supported gay marriage, right?

NC consists of unemployed black and hispanic minorities, along with white conservatives, as a major part of the population. Most them them oppose gay marriage, mostly due to ignorance and fear, in short, religion.

The only progressives and liberal minded people in NC are in the educated sections of the Research Triangle, Raleigh, Durham, Charlotte. They could not have won this the referendum by pure numbers anyway. This has nothing to do with Obama's lack of open support for gay marriage.

Wait until after Nov 5th to get a sense of Obama's true stand on gay marriage.

News Flash North Carolina Bans same sex marriage.

With the Obama Administration wanting to sue

any state that does not follow the Obama dictate,

North Carolina get ready for Eric Holder and his thugs will come knocking on you door.

Holder might even bring the Saintly Joe Biden,

for immoral support, and how not to be

Religious.

Miss Milligan,

There's nothing fun (nor brilliant) feeling about being reduced to political fodder when you are a LGBT citizen. Nothing.

Don't forget that today in North Carolina, LGBT employees of government positions will LOSE the ability to take care of their families when they loose there health benefits coverage of their domestic partnerships today. Really, nothing brilliant about that.
