To Bill Hedges of Mo, neo conservative politics is on it's way out in America. The people won't support pre emptive war, nor will the people accept government officials who work against civil liberties. Will Mitt Romney be Worse on civil liberties than Barack Obama? Will he be more violent with pre emptive assaults on other countries than Barack Obama? He's likely to be worse. On the economy, Mitt Romney is on a better track then Barack Obama, no doubt... but even better than Mitt Romney's economic plan, is Ron Paul's economics.... by Far.

My vote won't go to Barack Obama under any circumstances and it won't go to any of the neo-conservative Republicans either.

The Republican Party can take up the cause of domestic liberty and international non aggression...... or it fades to nothing. Better to register Libertarian and get on with the future.. don't you think? No...... you don't ;)

No one but Paul 2012~

So you will vote for even more liberal candidates because Republican candidate is too liberal for your taste ? Very few candidatesmatch all my beliefs. Very few liberal ones come close.

You sound like you ARE A LIBERAL playing games...

Bill Hedges of MO 3:33AM April 11, 2012

Sorry my duty is to my principles first - Romney if offensive to my principles because he promoted and defended abortion and gay marriage among tons of other liberal ideas - so as with McCain I will not vote for the forced GOP candidate of Mitt Romney ---- and I'm pissed with it because a bunch of old GOP elite thugs will now give obama 4 more years

Has there ever been a third party President ?

Has Ron P. ever accomplished ANYTHING ?

YOU WOULD rather have second term for buma if not Ron P. ?

"Third party is currently a tough road". IS ELECTABLE PRESIDENTIAL IMPOSSIBLE...

Bill Hedges of MO 3:23PM April 10, 2012

Great point brought out in this article that one may write in the name of a better choice, funny that mention of third parties didn't come up... although third party is currently a tough road, it's the road of the future with the "liberty center" of politics near ready to flow strongly into The Libertarian Party. This especially with continued refusal of the message of liberty within the GOP - the messege of the Ron Paul Revolution - America is ready to go three political parties soon [for a while]. This won't benefit the Democrats because they will lose more to a viable Libertarian Party than the Republicans will. A big percent of the Republicans are already There in wanting liberty.. the Dems haven't even considered it much yet, but they Will.

The 'government largess' crowd isn't enough to sustain any hold on power by itself (with voting strength) and the peace and freedom crowd in the Democratic Party is already clustered at the exit door.

Socialism is being more thoroughly discredited due to recent economic understanding... by more and more people... so that eventually a "nationalist" authoritarian party [GOP] will be left to try to retain power from a rising "Freedom" party [Libertarian] of increasing strength. It's an historical reallignment in American political culture.

This year though, we'll have Ron Paul in the general election on the Republican ballot line or AmericansElect ballot line and/or The Libertarian Party ballot line in every or practically every State. The next president will be either Dr. Ron Paul or Barack Obama again ..... no other way to figure it.

Ron Paul 2012~

Ron Paul for President.

Let Freedom Ring

NOTHING NEW HERE...

Hell, I've been voting for the lessor of two evils for my entire life.

Harry Truman was the last president I would have felt good about voting for - But I wasn't even born when he ran in 1948.

As a matter of fact, I reckon there have only been 4, maybe 5, presidents I could really have endorsed with my vote.

Pretty damn pathetic.
