The Real Sexism and Hypocrisy in the Gingrich Marriage Discussion

Reader Comments

Back to blog

You wrote that"...Gingrich's marriages are truly none of anyone's business...". I disagree. The Republican Party claims to be “the Party of family values". The people have the right to know about a man who has had many wives and who dumped each one, after she was no longer useful to him.

I think we should put Newt on a rocket and fly him to the moon. Then we should leave him there to be the first colonist in that planet. This knucklehead does not understand that we are in the middle of a recession and we don’t have the money. While in lunar orbit, rabble-rouser Newt will have to stop his antics to his lunatic partisans and friends (Sarah Palin, Herman Cain and the rest).

You complained about me using outdated material. RCP you use comparing to buma is from 1/5 - 1/27. My RCP Average 1/12 - 1/27. Mitt went down a lot from the earlier time. My link is more correct.

Material does not come out well. Can open link and see better.:

3. “Why don't you present the complete story, Bill, rather than only a small piece??? ”

I am. NEWT LEADS IN ALL POLLS BUT ONE NATION WIDE. Not that concerned about buma yet. When down to one candidate energy will be 100% towards buma. Our people are being vented and better prepared to meet the bum one on one.

4. People see the errors you make as I number them out.

5. Polls show Newt ahead. Final part of your comment does not change that. Not worth my time.

Bill Hedges of MO 10:08AM January 29, 2012

Bill Hedges' pride keeps him up all night searching for any little tidbit that may present a shine on Gingrich (...however incomplete and/or out-dated they may be).

The Real Clear Politics polls presents a culmination of ALL of the outstanding national polls, not just his little "Gallup Poll". RCP presents Romney with a deficit in the current general elections with Obama leading by 2.4%, whereas Gingrich presents a current deficit of 12.0%.

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2012/president/president_obama_vs_republican_candidates.html

I see that his "Gallup Poll" is not included, which is why I have suggested this poll a "minor entity".

Why don't you present the complete story, Bill, rather than only a small piece???

Then you state: "Look forward to your comments. Will give special attention to them..."

Now, if this be the case, please include the "whole story" rather than your cut-up version. Most folks reading these comments are able to see right through you and have already dismissed you, and I am also ready to dismiss you as you have proven time and again to present as dense as a pallet of bricks!

Your, "Article previous to this I corrected your mistakes", comment is as bogus as the day is long as I continue to prove you and your comments as wrong and incomplete as President Obama himself!

I noted one poster some time ago suggested you to be AKA, bruce b of NV. Frankly, I suspect you to be AKA, "Robert Schlesinger": one who would write continuous baloney for the sole purpose of keeping the comments on these forums going (...fits perfectly!).

If you want to continue to utilize links to praise your Newt, I can pull up just as many of your media-based propagada denouncing this idiot as anyone can:

Newt and Obama: ...gonners of MO

Article previous to this I corrected your mistakes.

If you don’t know Gallup is a major poll what are you doing here ? You did not even see Gallup in with the other polls of RCP. I corrected your miscomceptions.

Correcting you is causing you stress.

My favorite correction was:

“I gave Gallup’s latest national numbers and Newt has jumped up and in virtual tie with Mitt. I’ll take Gallup poll result over one man opinion David Frum any day.”

One man concludes Newt loss debate ? Was no poll. You win discussions with such tactics ? Gallup blew you out of water. You admire brucetee ? Go figure. Says much about you.

You started the reference to drugs. Why I said I do not do illegal drugs. You are dense.

Look forward to your comments. Will give special attention to them...

Bill Hedges of MO 12:02AM January 29, 2012

Bill Hedges,

Gingrich's loss in Florida spells a sense of finalization in his bid for the Republican nomination as your neighbor there in Missouri is largely correct. Gingrich is a mean, old, and cantankeous, been-in-the-system-far-too-long, political liar. With regard to his views in their entirety, I believe he will cause as much, if not more, damage as POTUS as the current incumbent.

It has been said that Mitt Romney is not so much a favored conservative as he has not been fully backed by the Republican Party. I read the home page at Fox News almost daily and there was no mention of the Florida debate for the last two days, except for a tiny article in an obscure corner. This being said, as there was no front page mention of Gingrich either, I'm not so sure he is fully backed by the Republican Party as well. In addition, Gingrich is listed as a regular Fox News contributor. To me, the absence of the Florida debate not being reported openly by Fox is deafening.

Today's American voter is far wiser than you would give them credit for. A minor few, like me, come to USN & WR for a quick overview and occasionally comment, so here is mine~

See you all next month!

Bill Hedges of MO:

What the h--l is the point in arguing dialogue with a zipperhead like you who can not comprehend even simple written scribe in the first place???

1) Your very first sentence states, "Your said Gallup was minor poll."

Now, if I understand your slurred blather correctly, what I said was, "I don't see your "Gallup Poll" included (in the RCP national culminated poll of polls). Is this some minority poll entity?" ....posed as a question (read slowly now, and you may asertain what I actually said!).

2) Additionally, this blather of yours comes from another blog on this forum, "Florida Is Do or Die for Newt Gingrich". So, tell me, are you trying to lasso in a "gallup" every comment I've made on the entire forum into one confusing lump of horses--t??

3) Your comment: "First, I don’t do illegal drug. YOU WANT TO TRADE INSULTS WRITE TO brucetee. He’ll do it". If you prefer to not be accused of "bonging", then get your f'n head straight, refine and organize your slurred and spittled use of the King's English, and reference in an intelligent manner

....or you can saddle Gingrich, mount him, and the both of you can "Gallup" off into the sunset together!

PS: Do not slam bruce b of NV. as he is, obviously, your superior!

Newt and Obama: ...gonners of MO 2:01AM January 28, 2012

Newt and Obama: ...gonners of MO

Just corrected you in earlier article. Gallup is one of RCP polls. Your said Gallup was minor poll. WRONG. Gave link and proof. I SHOWED YOU.

First, I don’t do illegal drug. YOU WANT TO TRADE INSULTS WRITE TO brucetee. He’ll do it.

Second, you use same argument like empty skull people like brucetee. Right wing Heritage. Never disprove Heritage just dismiss. They use government numbers. Plenty of sources normally given to verify. Impress me and prove them wrong. Not say they are wrong. Then wait for my reply before claiming victory.

There is a difference between real numbers and estimates by CBO. Real numbers prove Bush tax cuts for rich INCREASED government revenue. That’s money in the bank:

“According to the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO), the Bush tax cuts actually shifted the total tax burden farther toward the rich so that in 2000-2004, total income tax paid by the top 40% of income-earners grew by 4.6% to 99.1% of the total.”

http://www.americanthinker.com/2010/03/lying_about_bushs_tax_cuts.html

Like Newt, I am no fan of CBO estimates either. Nearly every tax cut (all ones I know of) increase revenue. But CBO will estimate loss by % of tax cut for rich. Democrats say tax cut cost money fo rich. Simple not true. Newt is right on.

I do not blame CBO for being cautious concerning tax cuts and decreasing revenue instead increasing. But is unfair. CBO should make notation that pass history shows income has historically increased revenue. Is how Democrat lie lives.

Yes, bumacare is # 1 to drown.

I have explained CBO to you. Not “moot at all”

I gave Gallup’s latest national numbers and Newt has jumped up and in virtual tie with Mitt. I’ll take Gallup poll result over one man opinion David Frum any day.

In my rush I think I answered most of your point.

I read your “moniker”, great you are from Mo.. Newt’s rising in the Gallup national poll. Nice Mark Twain frog jump distance too recently.

The story is out there about his ex’s. Kids have spoke out for Dad. You can see the polls how that worked out...

Bill Hedges of MO 11:12PM January 27, 2012

I even see the political cartoons on this very link where the Dems would LOVE to have Newt as the Republican nominee .....but Bull Hedges of MO. can't see that!

.....go figure!!!!
