thank you so much for writing what I have been thinking! they used to be just annoying d listers on the edge of my vision, now kim is everywhere in my life! she deservse this backlash and then some, 4 the shameless production that was her marriage and divorce! now the woman that bares all for the cameras on her mockumentry tv show, is only teasing out responses to what went wrong in the script of her marriage,no doubt waiting for the biggest offer from a magazine for the exclusive! I can only hope that this opens everyones eyes to what the kardashians are...money hungry whores, who would sell their soul for the right price

The only Cardassians I remember are an extraterrestrial species in the Star Trek science fiction series.

Are these "Kardashians" from some women's soap opera series?

(...key words; "soap opera")

Steve Hardin of KY 10:28AM November 03, 2011

Call them the K for Kookie Klan.

The Kardashians have an act

That knows no end in public span.

Soap operators - that's a fact!

The summer saw Kim K. of course,

A spectacled fairy tale bride.

The fall sees Kim K. in divorce.

All the Ks rallied round and cried.

What K. story line next to see?

Perhaps Kim out doing good work,

To try to spin reality

That she is not really a jerk.

'Tis the Kardashian season,

Ever there with no real reason.

MORE POWER TO KIM KARDASHIAN, WHOEVER, WHATEVER SHE IS...

For one, she's not running for re-election. Or even held elected office. To my limited knowledge of her.

But most importantly, what would life be like without all the pretty-or-not freaks and carnival geeks outside of elected office to either love or hate? Pretty boring. (And not in a good way, say like if we got rid of all the freaks and carnival geeks IN elected office. In which case boring would be ideal.)

Which was why the carnival physically coming to town in pre-TV days was such a big thing.

Without the diversionary amusement provided by all the freaks and carnival geeks outside of elected office, we'd all probably end up like Susan Grandma Milligan -- basically yelling at kids to get off our damn lawns, and quit celebrating anything so... 'excessively.' And listing out all the things other people 'should' do.

Well, if anyone want's a should-do, here's one:

As with Kim Kardashian and whatever she does for a living, all those with an opinion-writing job SHOULD also have a real job, at least 40 hours a week. Like say one where a single mistake could set a project back six weeks, if not longer. And take a big bite out of other peoples' paychecks. Or a job where a single mistake could turn a big-bucks one-day rental of a 30-ton crane and operator into two, wiping out any profit that could have been from the job, and then some. And losing such associated business for the future.

And then get so good at it that jobs with a $50 or $15,000 profit margin are both 'no sweat,' for all the ones who make it happen.

I honestly believe that Susan Milligan, self-billed as a 'political and foreign-affairs' writer, is completely clueless as to how long and hard most LEGAL people in the US -- particularly those in the construction trades like me -- work, often in far-less-than-ideal circumstances, to make our own and the general economy happen. Each day, every day. And actually thrive on such and wouldn't trade for a sit-on-your-butt-all-day-and-opine job, even for twice the money and a tenth the potential grief.

Well, maybe when we're 80 years old, and need something to do.

If Milligan was clued in, she'd realize how most of the above-described us don't give a fig about what's on TV. Or do, but only to the point where such just want to plop down on the sofa and veg out for a while. And as such she would find something more interesting to opine about than what's on TV.

The most helpful 'reality' for ALL the opinion writers at USN&WR would be a real job down in the trenches with the rest of us -- and then spend a couple hours an evening spanking out their opinion crank, two, three, maybe four times a week.

They would all get out of the predictable-opinion rut they're in -- and we'd get something more interesting to read from them that way.

If you're not up for that Susan, getting a real job 40-per then cranking out the opinion spank in the evening, ditch the 'political and foreign-affairs' pretense and stay right here, in Kim Kardashian opinion land. That would make for one less lefty/righty political BS opinion writer in the way of our getting the freaks and geeks out of political office.

You are all right people. She is all behind money and fame and now pretending to be married for love. I hate that fat ass bitch and the whole family together. Shame on E!, shame on pimped kris Jenner and shame on all Kardashian junkies. why would anyone even waste their time watching the crap anymore. As people out there who knows how this whore got famous, would never tune in to E! again. Get over with your shits Kardashian.

Watch Melissa Molinaro for real emtertainment and beauty as opposed to large Kim. The K family is nothing more than a band of narcissists.

Preach on sister!! I use to be into the whole Kardashian "hoopla" myself. But the more they bank the more it get seems to get to Kim's head. "Minnesota yeehaww".."Accustomed to HER life style" get over yourself..there are missing children, children starving, and children that are being beat in the real world.Does she forget how she got famous?? She was lying on her back.

These grabs for attention by people like the kardashians are very sad. They live a "no" life and hope to aspire to greater hights by playing at living. These people are a shameful reflection of reality, ( much like many of our politicians ). No, I will not buy their brand of life, nor their stories. If I wish to waste my time, I can find better ways to do so.
